I was very interested in the messages about the Sea Bright. I have been thinking about buying or building a kayak but haven't the time or shop area to use for the extensive & dirty work involved with the Chesapeake or Pygmy kayaks (sanding etc). You stated that the Sea bright is a day boat - is that because there isn't much storage room? I noticed on their web site that "no rudder is necessary" does that mean that none is available? I would use the kayak for coastal estuaries, bays lakes or marinas in the So Cal area. What do you think? Alice
