: Well, that looks great. Have you done a dry fit to make sure it won't hinder
: entry and exit, esp. wet exit?

Not really and I am holding my breath that I fit with it in the cockpit. I did a preliminary fit with just the plastic container. The inside dimensions of the container are 3 ½”x5” which is quite small but will allow my camera, GPS, wallet, etc. and maybe a sandwich to pass through. My cockpit room is very small so being too cramped is a concern.

: Since the size is fairly manageable, you might be able to put it in some sort
: of heated space (tented plastic w/space heater on low, a bathroom or other
: small room, etc) and get it cured out faster. Get the heat either steady
: around 80-90* or let it fall off during curing.

I sat the glassed strips on the wood stove last night to speed up the green epoxy and I am ready to work on it again this morning, epoxying the tube to the bottom.
I bought two kinds of adhesive yesterday to attach the plastic lip rim to the strips and I am running tests on them now, but I think I will put holes around the under side of the rim to make a mechanical bond and a chemical bond. I think that is the way to solve the plastic lid connection problem to the wood.

: Can't wait to see it installed!

In a few days we will see what it looks like installed and how cramped it really is.
