Very simple sturdy design, but color me puzzled, how do you cut the top of the forms when their in the stripped hull? I see some using this method cut the forms fully and attach them to stand offs that are removed when you flip the boat, is that easier?

BTW, I used an internal strongback firmly fixed to stiff risers attached to a 2 1/2" thick wood scaffold plank that in turn was screwed to my saw horses. Strong enough to stand on, and a great place for tools, clamps and glue. The only problems I had were the stem forms extended beyond the plank and required bracing, large triangular blocks positioned between the shear and waterline held them straight and square to the last full stations, and only required simple strapping for the first few strips to keep the very sharp tips in line. I cut wood cradles and padded them with foam pipe insulation to work the deck, a solid base that I really appreciated when fussing with the 2 1/2 foot long eagle's head blending into flames inlay on the fore deck.
