As far as the odor of the non-polyester systems, it is comparable to polyurethane?

If they will let you finish a bookshelf in the basement then they would let you fiberglass a kayak. Tell them you paid extra for the no-odor epoxy...

I've had similar issues with my wife... Like Bill basically said, "Don't ask, don't tell..." or "Its easier to get forgivness than permission..."
Either apply.
