You could take the plastic tent idea into the basement and use a small fan to draw the epoxy vapours out of a window using an inexpensive vent line, which could be constructed from 3" or 4" galvanized heating ducts (cheap). The fan need only be small and could be set on low power while the epoxy cures. Blow the vent gases out through a window and use duct tape and heavy gauge plastic to create a closed system (duct tape seals off the tent from rest of basement). Air intake would be from the basement near the floor. Because of the draw from the fan, no fumes would ever enter the basement. The air pressure created by teh fan should keep the outside weather outside. The fan must be able to create enough pressure in the tent to overcome any suction from your houses furnace, which if has more air draw than the fan, will use the open window as a fresh air source. Just a thought.
