That's cool Mr. Wizard, thanks for the info. I have wide cloth so I'll lay it on the boat at a slight diagonal. Now (thanks to you) I'll make sure layer #2 goes on along the opposite axis. Layer #3 (on the football) will be parallel. I'll probably be dragging it (filled with kids) up the beach a lot, kids standing on it, jumping from it... I'm going for a strong boat.

I just checked on my still tacky precoat. There are a few minor runs in it. So now I have to decide to glass over them or let it cure fully and sand lightly. I'm thinking it won't matter much either way and I'll probably go for the chemical bond and glass right over them. What does the Wizard think? :)
