: ... Good Morning, building a Pygmy is probably as easy as you will find. They are fine boats. Easy to paddle, they turn easily, and they go nice and straight.
And they are very sturdy. (I built the Artic Tern). The only thing I would do differently if I built another one: I would cut out the hatches before epoxing the long seams connecting the deck and the hull. Using that long pole was the hardest part I found. Otherwise just follow their instructions and you'll end up with a great kayak. Happy building. Gisela.
