I like super glue too but haven't used it on boats due to irritation. After reading your posting it hit me, "Use chemical googles".

Make sure the goggles don't have perforated sides cause that'll defeat the purpose. Of course then they'll fog up. So check out the pair on the bottom of the link. The UVEX Stealth goggle Model:S3960.

Also if you were the goggles you'll look just like Mr. Cool in the pic.
