I'm thinking about getting a trailer to haul my boats - 3 kayaks and one canoe at this point. I searched for posts on kayak trailers and found a few. One suggestion was to buy a small trailer kit from Harbor Freight
(http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=35966)
or Northern Tool
(http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=6970&langId=-1&catalogId=4006970&PHOTOS=on&TEST=Y&productId=465468&categoryId=274279)
I'm just curious if anyone has done this, and if so, how well did it work? (Pictures anyone?) I'm curious as to whether they are sufficiently long, particularly the tongue, for a 17 or 18 foot kayak.
