Epoxy: Fill coat tricks with Raka?

Got my hull glassed this morning. I was thinking ahead to fill coats and wondering if there is are any tricks when working with Raka epoxy? It is so thin, looks like it will take a couple of coats to ever get the weave filled.

BTW I am painting the hull. I had thought about thickening it maybe? If so what would be the most sandable filler? I misjudged on my silica and I need to order some more anyway.
