Skin-on-Frame: Wrinkles in PVC *LINK*

Hi Folks,
I was wondering if any of the others out there building with PVC fabric on & SOF boats have any tips for working out some of the wrinkles. I seem to have done all right for most of the kayak hull and can live with the few wrinkles near the cockpit. However, at the stern it doesn't look so good and my wrinkles are actually at the keel, not up by the chines where it wouldn't matter so much. I guess this must have to do with there being a bit of rocker in the aft region of this kayak (not really intentional, it just worked out that way). I took out a bunch of the staples to try to work the wrinkles out from farther back but I'm not sure it's helping.

I could probably cut and splice the fabric, but I'm not even exactly sure how to cut it that would resolve the problem.

The kayak in question is an 11' Yost-designed Sea Flea with a wood frame and I'm using 18 ounce PVC to skin it.

Thanks in advance,
Bryan
