: You can slice open the skin that is loose / wrinkled.. cutting along the keel
: centerline , overlap and glue the skin where possible , and then cover the
: incision with a rub strip. Think of it as an extension of covering the
: stems. Or, you can ignore the wrinkles and go paddling

Maybe we have really stiff PVC up here in Canada. Or it's the cold weather we're having. Bryan's situation sounds like where I was before I re-tightened the lacing starting from the bow and stern back to midships. So before you try that, Bryan, know that I ended up with worse wrinkles on the sides. Did you start lacing before stretching the skin along the keel? I think that was my mistake.

I'm going to try space heating and look for obviously bad lacing before loosening it off and tightening it back up. And if that doesn't make any difference, I'll stop worrying about it.
