Once upon a time I found a house I decided to buy. The house was perfect: the right size, ideal location, functional floor layout, nested in the woods with large deck shaded by tall trees and overlooking a private creek.
Home inspection revealed the house is sitting on unstable foundation, gradually sinking and sliding downhill. Repairs to foundation would cost $$$$$$$$$$$ and even then the results would be uncertain. I did not buy it.
As for your boat: I'd imagine the only option would be to take the boat apart and put it together again, straight this time.
