Woo Hoo! I launched the Kiska yesterday!

Since I started her in January I have only posted a few times here but boy have I ever appreciated all the amazing advice and ideas generated from all of you on this forum. Thanks! I'm even starting to feel like I might be able to answer a few questions!

It was a great day. I started by christening her with a shot of single malt over the bow ... well actually quite a few shots because my wife missed the first couple of pictures! The weather was perfect, calm in the bay where I launched and then a good chop with 15 knot wind out toward the Strait of Georgia here in Vancouver.

The magnetic hatches held solidly and she tracked very well with little weathercocking. (I have an Onno CF skeg in but hardly used it). Definitely some water coming in through the soft padeyes but nothing that some added caulking won't fix.
