: The last time I did GC, there was FID, TCD and ECD and not much else.

No help required. Got a new (read the "old" column) installed now and it is doing what I wanna see so I am very happy tonight. Some idiot thought a newer column would work better so he installed it and it has caused grief ever since. When I took this job I immediately recognized that it wasn't working properly so I worked it hard until the boss couldn't take it any more. Now I get to use the good old column again and all is well. :) By the way, where I work we have FID, TCD, PID, ECD, and a couple of others of which I cannot remember right now.

: I'm off in a couple of days to shake down a friend's new Penobscot 16ft.
: canoe, then driving to Saskatchwan to wander around Grasslands National
: Park for a week. Lots of new land in the park, have to try some
: navigating, but after making sure there are fresh batteries in the GPS in
: my pack. On the other hand, getting lost would help ensure I don't think
: about work.

I'll be in Porcupine Plain during the long weekend. That is where my uncle has the family farm. I'll be ther for a few days to chat and paddle. There is a little known lake there that seems small but you can catch huge fish in it. Apparently the lake is 240-ft deep...that's what they say anyway...I don't know where they get that number from but judging by the fish caught...it has to be deeper than it looks. Grasslands sounds great...that is something I'd love to do if given the time. Hope all goes well with you. Take pics and post them...I'd love to see what it looks like over there.
