That is so true.

It is also true for people who have spent money on a mass-production design.

Brand loyalty also is a very subjective thing.

The only real solution is to have lots and lots of different kayaks (not such an outrageous notion for some of us here). You can then very quickly know what suits you best.....

It is the one you use all the time of course. The others mostly get used by friends.
