Strip: Should I start over?

I am building the Guillemot L and have stripped the hull, flipped it over and now starting the deck. While working on the hull I noticed that in some spots I could not force the twist and bend of the strips to match the forms and it would would pull out the staples by as much as 4mm particularly in the concave areas of form numbers 2, 3, 15 and 16. This will result in a slightly less fine of an entry and exit for the water encountering the hull. Does anyone have a handle as to whether this will have a noticable affect on performance.

If I am going to saw it all off and start over over, it seems to me that this is the time to do it.

In the attached photo I have placed a headlamp behind the form and photographed the light coming through the separation between the strips and the form.
