I made a Guillemot and Guillemot S and this was a problem on both. You can wet the strips inside and out with a damp cloth or spray/mister. Then you can either use a strap clamp and blocks of wood to force in the problem areas or instead of the clamp, use long wood screws into the forms to replace the staples (you need to screw through a scrap of wood on top of the strips so the screw doesn't just break through the strip). As the other poster said, a heat gun helps too but you need to be able to clamp it properly so that everything has some time to readjust to the correct shape on the forms. this problem is very fixable, don't start over especially unless you have plan to keep it all from happening again.
