Single skin you won't be able to take the frame out and have it usable, will be way too weak. CF is not a cure all.

Other problem used alone it'll take a huge amount of resin to make it waterproof, the cloth not applied over a substrate of some kind is very porous and the resin won't fill the holes between the yarns, will take endless coats of resin to eliminate all the holes, each one adding weight and decreasing flexibility.
