I used Beckson pryout hatches and they worked well. I had breather holes drilled in the bulkheads and never had a problem with the hatches coming loose from pressure or rough water. Haven't tried the Bomar hatches so I can't comment on them.

: Has anyone tried Bomar locking pryout deck plates? I'm thinking of
: replacing my troublesome Beckson screw-in. It's pricey, but I
: have a compression latch on the front and I like it. Secure?
: Good use on a kayak? I think someone said they'd used them,
: maybe Don Goss?
