: Hi guys, been searching for aircraft grade dacron here in DK, not
: much luck, so I thought about regular sailmakers dacron, and
: found a place, that sells it by the meter.. Any of you know, if
: this stuff works as a base for glassing? And what would be a
: good weight grade to use 5-6 oz? lighter/heavier?

: Thanks

The problem with sail cloth is it's usually pre-shrunk and it's often coated. Both are problems for SOF's. Might try looking for microlight aircraft companies, the European version of the US's ultralights. They often use aircraft dacron.
