I use the following, both Canadian sources:

6mm accessory cord, black, from Rescue Consulting Canada, http://resconcanada.com/index.html
product A060AS001, $21.90 for 15 meters.

1" black webbing from MEC, http://www.mec.ca/AST/ShopMEC/Climbing/SlingsWebbing/PRD~0406-132/web-source-1-24mm-flat-climbing-webbing.jsp
They also sell fittings for the webbing.
