Got a sample in the mail, applied to a thin metal surface. It's completely flexible, you can fold it in half and straighten it out and have no sign of problems. Seems like it would be fine for a SOF.

I spoke to the guy there who said that they have multiple products. The "slipperiness" one comes in multiple colors, the abrasion resistant one is just graphite.

: I've made a few inquiries with the parent company, Wearlon, for
: coating the bottoms of my kayaks. the Super F-2M is a
: water-borne epoxy coating with silicone molecules locked into a
: stable matrix. It's supposed to be very durable, slippery and
: flexible. On their website is a picture of a flat piece of steel
: that was coated and then bent with no cracking or delaminating.
