I am about ready to join the deck/hull of a Petrel for my wife. At her request I need to include a "camel back" type of water bag. In the few years I have been on this forum I don't remember anyone talking about doing this. I have the bag/tube assembly. The tube is 1/4" I.D. plastic covered with an insulator that makes it 1/2" in diameter. I have drilled a 3/4" hole through the deck and filled it back in with epoxy so I am ready to drill a final size hole.
At this point I am a little stumped. I see no way to put this tube through a hole and not have it leak. I am also concerned about refilling the bag as I would have to remove the tube from the deck everytime it was filled. At the moment I am looking for some sort of bulkhead fitting with a quick disconnect on one end so I could snap the bag in/out. The tube has a sort of "quick disconnect" to the bag as purchased but I am not sure how long this is going to hold up.
So, when one does not know what one is doing any suggestion is worth the price of admission :)

P.S. If it figures into the equation - the water bag will be held in place against the back side of the seat bulkhead with a small net
