Mostly I'll paddle flat water to mild chop. Probably occasional ocean, and even try surf eventually. If the boat is only suitable for flat water, I'll build another for other conditions.

I've been building and flying R/C gliders for over 20 yrs., and have thrown one or two in the trash after several attempts to make it fly better. Never had one that didn't fly at all, even the most unorthodox ones. Some were absolutely awful to fly, some were no improvement over conventional, and evry now and then a truly nice result occurs. I'm not one to quit, and I recognize my own stupidity when I see it. But, it ain't stupidity if you learn enough to make the effort not totally useless.
