I still prefer to understand fuel mileage as "mpg" instead of "litres per 100 kms". I still prefer pounds over kilograms. I still like using gallons instead of litres. Those danged millimeters look so small when measuring out the length of a baseplate or stud, inches are fewer and easier to see on the old tape measure. All that I still prefer despite learning metric wayyyyy back in the 70's. I know measuring in tenths is more logical than in ounces/pounds/tons but hey, who says I have to be logical. Things were so much better in the old days (my Anglican (Episcopalian) roots showing.
