I have been following that one too. I am over in Guntersville, so this hit home with me too. Would really like to know more about what happened. Someone this past weekend heard he was hunting arrowheads on the island. He suggested his boat might have gotten away from him and he tried to swim for it. That makes as much sense as anything. But of course it is just guessing but sounds plausible.

If you hear anything I would really like to know. My niece and I are gearing up for some kayak this spring leading up to a big camping trip. Her mother/my Sister in law is freaked out after that. Scared for get to get into a kayak even though they are both Girl Scout canoe instructors.
