I eyeballed mine and it goes GREAT

There are boat builders and boat sailers. I am of the latter persausion (impetuous and impatient to finish the job and get out on the water). In my haste to hit the water I just eyeballed my guillemot s&g through the whole building process. In certain lights and certain angles I can almost convince myself that my (guillemot) nose has a slight twist to the right. But otherwise it looks pretty symetrical.

Now that I have been out and about I can assure you that my guillemot S&G tracks strongly. But with its upturned bow, can still spin pretty quickly on the spot. Good enough to have a whale of a time in the surf the other night.

The Guillemot Rocks. If it looks like a deranged banana you might have troubles. If it looks right, you matched your panels before you stitched them, then it is my experience that you will have a damn fine kayak waiting to hit the water.

Happy kayaking

Pete
