I'm planning to build another boat later this fall and this one will be for my wife. She has been paddling borrowed plastic rec boats and likes the size and stability of boats in the 12-14 ft range.
I am considering the Pinguino Sport for her as the descripiton on the Pygmy site comes real close to what I think will serve her well. But, I think I might like it as well based on the article on how well it did on the Skookumchuck tidal rapids. It might be a fun boat to have in addition to my strip Spring Run.
Has anyone build it yet and if so, can you provide any insight into how you think it paddles?
Any other boats come to mind I should consider that have similar size / performance to the Pinguino Sport?
Thanks much....
