: Wondering if anyone has finished an Artic Hawk from CLC??

If it needs additional strength, I'd be inclined to lay the wood strip along the hull as directed, epoxying it in place, and then cover that with glass cloth. The idea is simple - it creates a 'sandwich', with the wood strip as the centre. Any sandwich construction gets stronger as you increase the separation of the two faces. Shouldn't madd a lot of weight, and it will stiffen the bottom considerably.

: Am I off the mark that some glass would be stronger and lighter than a large
