Any fillet larger than 1/4" radius is probably wasted epoxy and excess weight. I find a tongue depressor is about right for forming fillets. I would fillet the seams, round over the top of the reinforcing strip with a router or plane, then lay bias-cut 4-oz. glass over the whole thing.
