I've been enjoying my Yost Sea Otter R, launched a month ago. 12 oz. nylon with Corey goop. Frame of 1/2 in. plywood, with cedar stringers. Weighed in at 31 pounds with float bags and Sea Dogs foot braces. As someone had alluded to, it's a bit tender; and my feet rub the deck... which, of course, means that I have to build again!

I'm impressed with the skin. I stitched it up tight! This gave me stitch holes that are perhaps a bit more elongated than ideal. But, I have noticed only a slight amount skin loosening, even in sub-freezing temps. Was not able to keep my stitch lines straight, but could do better on take two.
