I use west 403 microfibres for glueing items like the skeg box together or to the hull or the hull to the sheer planks. It is strong but heavy, as it absorbs resin. It also slumps.

I use west 406 B colloidal silica for fillets. It is White and if it is visible I add wood dust from my sander baggie Ito colour.

The colloidal silica is very light and doesn't absorb much resin. It doesn't slump. Not knowing anything much about it, when asked how much I wanted I said about a kilogram should do. It arrived in a four gallon bucket and will last me the rest of my life. Order by volume not weight.

Large fillets will heat up and can cause structural damage in tight spaces through expansion.

The microfibres and silica can be combined to make a non slumping glue at the cost of strength depending on the ratios.
