control curve vs actual shape curve

the control curve seems to be a funny additional but unnecessary artifact in order to get curvature analysis. It is not the shape of the yak.

In either case, when intersections are added the curve AND the control curve deflect to the intersection point. i really don't have a problem with it doing that, but i do have a problem with not being able to rationally adjust to the issue with the curvature tool.

you have to rely on yr eye, unfortunately.
