Hi Gennie,

The worst spot was the reverse curve transitioning from the recess to the inside of the deck. I had good luck mostly just using bias-cut (about 45 degrees) strips of glass and carbon. The "show" layer of CF is one, continuous bias-cut piece with the seam in the rear. One thing I did was to cover the deck area around the coaming with clear packing tape. I ran the glass beyond the form onto the tape. I needed a few inches of material past the form or else the edges would come up. After laminating I'd go back every hour or so and check on it, pressing down any areas that may have popped. Everything worked quite well. The only bad thing is I need to make a new form every time...
