: I think I may have picked up a stack of Scotchbrite pads at Home Depot, but
: it's been so long I can't be sure of that. Any coarse pad will do.

: For roller covers, I've used the 1/8" foam nap ones that are
: specifically for epoxy, but they're not cheap. I usually buy the adhesive
: roller covers at Home Depot - they're kind of short nap mohair looking
: thing. I use a pullsaw to cut it into thirds, and then use a stubby
: roller.

: Mix epoxy and dump into a paint tray, and then start rolling. When you're
: done, toss the roller cover. Clean up the paint tray with white vinegar
: and paper towels. (and wear latex gloves for the whole process) It will
: take 2-3 coats to fill the weave of 6 oz. cloth.

: You're asking questions on the right forum - there are a lot of experienced
: people hanging out here, and they're always generous sharing their
: knowledge.

I use the plastic liners in the paint trays and just leave the epoxy residue in the liner. The next day, when it has cured, it usually just peels right out. If it doesn't peel out, just toss the liner, they are cheaper than roller covers.
