Maybe I should give that a try. As it is now the gunwales are trying to go higher, if I remove the zip ties holding them to the frame they'll lift a little over an inch. I was hoping that just moving the chines down a little farther on the front section would take away the downward pressure, things were fine before they were installed. But I guess in the right spot now isn't the same as in the right spot a year from now. The sections are angled about 10 degrees where the gunwale attaches to give it some arc, but maybe I do need to make sure there's a bit more.
