I was an original member of the biplane forum over 10 years ago. Seeing as I had already built two planes I was talked into joining so I could answer questions from new members. It did not take long before the membership far exceeded my expertise. Now I occassionally participate but mostly I am still learning from others posts even though I have built 3 planes.
I joined this forum approx. 3 years ago and have so far built 4 kayaks, I am still a beginner, I still learn much from the "experts" posts.

Randy, could you share with us your thoughts of similarities and differences between the two? People would be interested. After all, "fuselage" method is called that for a reason. I have learnt of one, the skin, in discussions about Ceconite and other lightweight Dacron with regard to Bill Hamm's use of it. No impacts to worry about. What coverings are used? What sort of frames and longitudinals do these planes use? What wood species for what?
