Mosquito aircraft? I talked about "old" aircraft.

Trust me, tightening the skin on a kayak has no chance of snapping the frame.
I've also attempted to shrink a skin - to the point where it melted, again there was no noticeable deformation of the frame.
The simple fact is that kayaks are not engineered to remove weight and keep strength like an aircraft.

I like wood also, but have built both.

I have lots of friends who have built current aircraft of different types - thanks.

I still don't think there is any value in getting into a pedantic English lesson.
