Durhams is a lot less expensive than using epoxy and throwing most of the epoxy away.

Have you found that wood filler is porous enough to absorb epoxy when you glass or glass/seal coat?
I haven't used Durhams-it's not available at HD in Canada- but I know that the Elmers wood filler I've used isn't very 'adhesive' or 'strong' and can pop out. I tried to convince myself that the epoxy would saturate the filler 'afterward' and bond the filler, providing a solid fill.
