I agree. Since this is your first boat, you should B&C. There are many other things that you will have to figure out before you get to the end of the build. Do not make it more difficult than it seems. Use this as a building experience and learn all you can. You are probablly itching to take the finished boat out and enjoy it. I know I was! And then on the second build expand on the experience of the first and apply it to the second.
