Sheath strapped to side of thigh

I noticed that most of you keep teh knife on your pfd. I thought about doing that, too, but realized that the blade is quite long. I, therefore, made webbing waist and leg straps and wear the knife down the length of my thigh. If I have to swim, the knife won't get in the way. When I am paddling, I simply position the sheath so that it doesn't interfere with hip/knee bracing.
